Director John Martoccia’s Creative and Thought Provoking Religious Films

Anthony Stella Productions is the product of John Martoccia’s love for artistic expression.  He is a painter, poet, and filmmaker.  His decision to make films came out of the realization that God has blessed him with the gift of creative expression, and that he should use the medium of film to convey the truths of life to his audiences.  While it is difficult for religious movies and Catholic films to compete with mainstream movies, John created his films to relate to a large audience.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion when they write Catholic movie reviews, and Anthony Stella Production movies have made their mark on audiences.  Carefully handpicked casts, thoughtful storylines, appropriate music themes, and excellent cinematography are the backbone of these movies.  Vito Bonafacci, which was the first production, is about a rich and successful businessman and his journey from the alluring world of materialism to unlocking secrets of the true meaning of life.

If you are looking for quality, thought-provoking Catholic Christian Movies on DVD, you should not miss Death of a Tree. It is the second movie by Anthony Stella Productions, and the title itself is a metaphor for life. The movie reflects on why human beings bring death and destruction to their fellow humans instead of giving them life and prosperity.
